With the support and intervention that helped me to cope with my attentional, reading and writing difficulties, I made good progress in my academic results. In Primary 4, my mother noticed that I continued to experience difficulty in social and communication skills both at home and in class. At home, there were frequent misunderstandings with my parents often relating to interpretation of spoken words. At school, I had a lot of problems with my classmates especially in group projects and physical activities. My mother decided to consult a Consultant Pediatrician who recommended an auditory processing assessment.
